O’ you the innocent soul,
So beautiful so pure,
What my eyes love to behold
Is your beauty; a thing to adore.

The rose so delicate so red,
Bedecked with dew that shimmers
You, when smile, your cheeks glow red
Like flamboyant flower.

I yearn to hold you in my arms tight
When the sun loses its blaze.
Beside the feeble adobe
Near the field of maize.

Every you said is fresh
Like the day one
So many days between us in real
To me there is none.

When you placed your head
On my shoulders; stayed quiet
Then picked it up and saw,
In my wondering eyes,
And held my arms tight.

O’ Darling! Ye broke the ice,
Resounded your voice,
Sweet and nice
If you are near the world is mine
I can’t think to live otherwise.

O’ Darling come back soon
My days are dull and night is long
Come back, running frantically,
And prove the world wrong.
