An Answer To A Maiden’s Fears…!
You say, “You might forget me soon”
What made you feel like this?
How could I forget this gentle boon
This very first love bliss.
I see these questions in your eyes
To which I answer not,
Mistaking everything for lies
Darling you think a lot.
Neither I lied nor I will;
Truth only will I speak,
I value in the love free will
And truthfulness I seek.
From ears to cheeks, from lips to eyes
My sight frequently wanders,
Your charming beauty it espies
And what a joy it renders.
I look at you & so you do
And thence our eyes meet,
Then the hearts mingle too
With silent kisses, sweet.
