Wishes…!
Life is characterized by a multitude
Sometimes big
Sometimes small
Sometimes larger than all;
Wishes that travel the length;
Dropping down thick & fast
Emerging from nowhere,
The more we reap
The more they grow,
No hindrance can
Prevent their flow;
On the brink of my life I think
What a wishful life I’ve spent,
But running behind my wishes
Hath brought me to a land
Plenty of wishes to talk about
Yet nothing in my hand.
